Owner Bio - A Bit About Me
Made by One Person Who Actually Cares, Greetings, I am Camille, the proprietor of Handmade Market. I make everything you see here – by hand, whether it is crocheting or sewing in my La Mesa Home. There is no team, no factory, just me and 15+ years of perfection my craft. When you order from Handmade Market, you are support a real person who puts care into every piece. My hobby turned business when the desire to create means you have many items that you personally do not really need. By offering my work to you, you may find a special gift for someone you love.
I respond to every message and take custom requests and I stand behind my work. That’s the difference between buying handmade and buying mass-produced. I established my business in 2018, although my journey in creating handmade items began many years prior.
My passion for crafting; started in childhood when I expressed a desire to learn crocheting. Unfortunately, my mother, being right-handed, and I am a lefty, was unable to teach me, which presented a challenge. Instead she gifted a "Learn How Book" which I still cherish today. This resource enabled me to continue crocheting for over six decades; in addition I have her original Singer Sewing Machine. I cherish the memories of years gone by.
